 | Friday 24th 7.30 PM | The Clarinet and Basset Horns Ensemble of Bavaria Wednesday, 5th January, 7.30 PM MOZART - Divertimento on "Le nozze di Figaro" for three basset horns nach KV 577 Surely Mozart's favourite instrument, after the piano, must have been the clarinet. Along with its relation, the basset horn with "magical" Masonic overtones, in the eighteenth century it was popular with amateurs and audiences alike. Works were written for clarinet ensembles by Mozart himself and by many other composers including Stadler, the clarinettist for whom Mozart wrote his clarinet concerto and quintet. A fascinating concert not to be missed! Cost: £8.00 |

 | Saturday 22nd 7.30 PM | Sana Kirten / Tommy James Monday, 7th February, 7.30 PM Sana Kirten - Violin Finnish violinist Sana Kirten studied at the Kuskana Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music in London. She is leader of the Helene Ensemble and as a recitalist has appeared in various concerts in Finland and the UK. Her career has been generously supported by The Scanda Kultur Foundation.  | Monday 22nd 7.30 PM | Tabitha Mewnes - Piano Thursday, 10th March, 7.30 PM MOZART - Sonata No.4 in E flat K.282 Tabitha Mewnes completed the MMus Advanced Piano Performance Course at the Royal College of Music and is currently active as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician. She has been selected as a young artist on the Espinoza Foundation, Mayfair Group and Shsrples Trust schemes.Cost: £8.00 |
